オーストラリアに住んで5年になりますが、いまだにカルチャーショックの日々です。特に西洋人との違いは大きいです。こちらでは、黙っていてもわかってくれる、とか正しいことをしていればいつかは理解してくれる、なんてことは決してありません。発言しなければだれも興味を持ってくれません。でもちゃんと言えばわかってくれるんですけどね。：） 今の日本はちょっと元気がなくって、最近の現状を見ていると、自分が置かれている状況と同じような気がしてしまします。なんとか応援したくてこのブログをはじめました。日本はすばらしい国です。もっと誇りを持って、言うべきことははっきり言えるようになりましょう。

I live in Australia nearly 5 years, but still I have cultural shocks almost everyday. The difference between Japanese and other countries people especially westerners are enormous. In Japan, we think 'If I do the right thing, people will understand without saying anything.' However they don't understand unless I speak up. The good thing is if I say, and can explain, people understand.
I feel like Japan is losing the power. Japan should be powerful, high technology, cultured, and little bit strange ;)
I hope this blog would help to cheer up Japan and Japanese. Otherwise rest of the world will have difficulties finding good cameras and cars ;)
