人生という戦場で味方を探すのではなく、自分自身のチカラを見いだせますように
不安と恐れの下で救済を切望するのではなく、自由を勝つとる為に耐える心を願えますように
成功の中のみ恵みを感じるような卑怯者ではなく、失意の時にこそ、支えられ手を握られて生きている事に気づけますように

let me not beg for the heart conquer it
let me not look for allies in life's battlefieid but to my own strength
let me not crave in anxious fear to me saved but hope for the patience to twin my freedom
Grant me that I may not be a coward feeling your mercy in my success alone but let me find the grasp of your hand in my failure
